Alt-City 2019
Just what is Alt-City, anyway?
Alt-City, short for alternative, provides the opportunity for recognition of student achievement in the arts disciplines that typically had remained as an alternative or on the fringe, also known as contemporary genres.
Alt-City participants can perform in art forms such as Rock, Rap, Hip-Hop, Beat-Boxing, A Cappella, R&B, Latin, Funk, Spoken Word, Steel Drums, Step and other contemporary experimental musical forms.

INTERESTED IN PERFORMING: Submit an entry application online by Friday, March 8. Applications are adjudicated based on the following guidelines:

Individuals, pairs or groups (group size no larger than 10 members)

Grades 5-12

Perform a 3-to 10-minute, well-choreographed show

Music must be edited for time (free from all profanity, inappropriate language, sexually suggestive lyrics, drug references, offensive references, etc.)

Any music style is acceptable, but repertoire and choreography inappropriate for a family show is not acceptable.
